Rosario Ruffino, CPA, CFP^®

Rosario is a Certified Public Accountant and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. He also holds life and accident and health insurance licenses.

Experience and education

Rosario provides strategic leadership for his market, aligning teams, resources and culture to drive growth and enhance the client experience. He partners closely with local and regional leaders to support advisors, develop talent and ensure consistent execution of the firm’s mission and values.

Prior to joining Mariner, he formed RR Advisory Group. Before that, he was a partner at Clarfeld Financial Advisors, a firm specializing in financial planning, tax planning and investment services. His primary responsibilities included counseling executives on personal financial planning, estate, retirement, insurance and investment advisory services. He had overall relationship responsibility for several of the firm’s major corporate financial planning programs.

Rosario has a bachelor’s degree from Bernard M. Baruch College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP^®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®, and CFP^® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
