Experience and education

Daniel focuses on new business development. He works with individuals and families to understand their specific needs and priorities then introduces them to a wealth planning team that can help them achieve their long-term financial objectives.

Prior to joining Mariner, Daniel served as senior vice president at Empower, where he developed relationships with individuals and families to manage their assets. Before that, he was senior vice president and team leader at Personal Capital, responsible for onboarding and training new advisors, developing curriculum and creating metrics to measure advisor performance. Earlier in his career, Daniel worked as a sales representative at Principal Financial, providing comprehensive retirement solutions to intermediaries and plan sponsors across Georgia.

Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida State University.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Daniel is deeply committed to his faith and family. He also enjoys reading and playing golf.
