Designations and Licenses

Bob is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Chartered Financial Consultant®. He holds an insurance license in the state of Tennessee.

Experience and Education

Bob focuses on the client experience and developing associate talent at several of the firm’s locations. He is responsible for strategy and operational execution in these locations, as well as identifying and opening new offices.

Prior to joining Mariner, Bob was a senior vice president and managing director at First Horizon Advisors, where he oversaw the wealth management division for 10 markets in Florida. Before that, he worked at BOK Financial as senior vice president and manager of retail brokerage.

After beginning his college education at the University of Arkansas, Bob transferred to Northeastern State University, where he received a BSBA in finance with minors in accounting and computer science. He also has an MBA from Union University.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Bob enjoys traveling with his wife and children, coaching his boys in football and watching his daughter play lacrosse. He is an avid weightlifter and CrossFitter. He is involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Junior Achievement and Filling the Void, a homeless ministry. Bob is a big fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys.
