Experience and education

Miriam provides tax planning, compliance and accounting solutions to closely held businesses across a variety of industries. She also devises tax planning solutions for high-net-worth individuals and manages compliance-related matters for all taxing jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Mariner, she served as a director of tax at Andersen, where she partnered with advisers to deliver tax-efficient strategies around liquidity events, mobility and expatriation, QSBS, treaty analysis and residency planning.

Miriam has more than 20 years of experience in individual and cross-border tax planning for high-net-worth clients and senior executives. Her career began at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing a strong foundation in complex individual and international tax. Miriam is passionate about helping clients align tax strategy with their broader financial goals to preserve wealth and support long-term planning.

Miriam holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Legal Studies in taxation from the University of San Francisco.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Miriam enjoys time with her family and three dogs, relaxing at the beach, cheering on the Dodgers and volunteering with the Salvation Army.
