Scott is a registered investment advisor. He also holds life, health and variable life insurance licenses in Ohio.

Experience and Education

Scott provides personalized wealth management solutions for affluent families, corporate executives and business owners. He works with clients to define their goals and values, and then designs, implements and monitors customized plans to help them reach those goals. In addition, he provides directional leadership to the advisors and associates in our Cincinnati – West Chester office.

Prior to joining Mariner, Scott was the founder and CEO of The Pinnacle Group, serving individuals and businesses with insight and leadership for over 20 years. Prior to that, he managed bond portfolios for banks, served as director of accounting for a regional bank holding company, served as manager and national resource for an international accounting and consulting firm and served as CEO and director of a community bank and a shareholder in an industry-leading investment banking firm.

Scott has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Cincinnati and a Master of Business Administration degree from Xavier University.

Personal Interests

Scott is a member of Crossroads Church and has led mission trips to places like Kenya and Central America. He has also served on numerous nonprofit boards and foundations. In his free time, he loves to travel and play golf, and enjoys spending time with his wife, five children and eight grandchildren.
