Steve is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, a Chartered Financial Consultant® and a Certified Equity Professional. He also holds the Certified Kingdom Advisor® designation.

Experience and Education

Steve provides strategic guidance tailored to the needs of senior executives and key employees at public and private companies. He specializes in optimizing equity awards, coordinating executive benefits, planning for liquidity events, and integrating compensation with long-term wealth strategies. He has a passion for helping executives make informed decisions around complex planning topics and identifying opportunities to maximize the impact of their wealth.

Prior to joining Mariner, Steve was director of planning administration at SFG Wealth Planning, where he led financial planning operations and focused on enhancing the client experience through operational efficiency and service model alignment. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade as a lead financial advisor, working with affluent families on comprehensive strategies across investments, insurance, tax, estate and philanthropy.

Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in real estate and finance from Temple University.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He’s passionate about personal growth, faith-driven leadership and spending time outdoors. Based in Pennsylvania, he is active in both professional and community networks.
