Experience and Education
Leon works with individuals and families, as well as foundations and endowments. His experience in investing, estate planning and taxation helps him meet the complex wealth planning needs of business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
Leon has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services and investment management industry, and his experience includes fundamental and quantitative analysis, as well as investment strategy. Prior to joining the firm, Leon was cofounder of RiverPoint Capital Management. Before RiverPoint, Leon was a principal and portfolio manager at Scudder, Stevens & Clark. Leon spent 17 years at Scudder, where he was a senior member of the national investment team.
Leon has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Cincinnati and a master’s degree from the University of Denver with a concentration in taxation.
Leon has been quoted by many business publications over the years including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Cincinnati Business Courier and others. In addition, Leon has been named a Five-Star Wealth Manager in Cincinnati Magazine by Five Star Professional every year from 2012-2018.
Leon is committed to the local community and has served as the chairman of the board at Clovernook Center for the Blind, was a previous board member at Archbishop Moeller High School, previous board member at Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, previous board member at University of Cincinnati KBS scholarship and served on the board of the Cincinnati Ballet and its executive committee.
