Experience and Education
Tami works to help ensure quality retirement plan services are delivered to clients. She assists plan advisors and plan sponsors with annual investment, fee and plan reviews and other compliance with ERISA. She also works with plan sponsors to develop education strategies and participant communications.
Tami has more than two decades of experience in the financial services and legal industries. Prior to joining the firm, Tami was a financial advisor at Heritage Financial Services, LLC. She also has experience as a paralegal and a law firm office manager.
She has a bachelor’s degree in pre-law and public administration from Fort Hays State University. She is also a member of Women in Pensions Network (WiPN) and is a cochair of the Nebraska Omaha Metro Chapter. She is a member of Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the National Association of Plan Advisors(NAPA). In July 2019, she participated in the NAPA Fly-in Forum in Washington D.C. with approximately 200 elite advisors who met with Congressional leaders to lobby for passage of the SECURE Act.
In 2019 and 2020, Tami was recognized as a Rising Star on the National Association of Plan Advisors’ (NAPA) list of Top Women Advisors.
Tami serves on the Mariner Foundation Omaha Volunteer Committee and volunteers for the Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands. She is also a Financial Hope Collaborative Financial Success program coach. In her free time, she likes to watch college football. Tami is an avid Nebraska Cornhuskers football fan. She also likes to cook, read and spend time with family and friends.
The NAPA Top Women Advisors were selected from 500 (2019) and more than 550 (2020). Nominees were asked to respond to a series of questions, both quantitative and qualitative, about their experience and practice. Those questions were then reviewed on an anonymous basis by a panel of judges. Selected women were honored in three separate categories: Captains, (all-stars who happen to be principals, owners or tam captains of their organizations); All-Stars (top producers who have their own practice); and Rising Stars, (top producers who have less than five years of experience with retirement plans as a financial advisor).
