Experience and education
Tami is responsible for the oversight and management of client relationships, striving to exceed client expectations by delivering excellent service through developing investment policy guidelines, optimizing investment portfolios, selecting investment managers, presenting performance-monitoring reports and conducting trustee education on a wide range of investment topics. She also helps to ensure clients receive accurate documentation and reports on their timeline, maintaining current knowledge of each client’s manager lineup and general market issues. Tami acts as the primary point of contact in relation to all servicing issues related to the client and is required to be proactive in communication regarding portfolios, firm and plan issues as they arise. She may also leverage Mariner’s colleagues as required in order to meet the clients’ varying needs.
Tami has more than two decades of experience in the financial services and legal industries. Prior to joining Mariner, Tami was a financial advisor at Heritage Financial Services, LLC. She also has experience as a paralegal and a law firm office manager.
Tami has a bachelor’s degree in pre-law and public administration from Fort Hays State University. She is also a member of Women in Pensions Network (WiPN) and is a cochair of the Nebraska Omaha Metro Chapter. She is a member of Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the National Association of Plan Advisors(NAPA). In July 2019, she participated in the NAPA Fly-in Forum in Washington D.C. with approximately 200 elite advisors who met with congressional leaders to lobby for passage of the SECURE Act.

She was recognized as a NAPA Top Woman Advisor Rising Star in 2021, 2020 and 2019.
Personal interests
Tami serves on the Mariner Foundation Omaha Volunteer Committee and volunteers for the Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands. She is also a Financial Hope Collaborative Financial Success program coach. In her free time, she likes to watch college football. Tami is an avid Nebraska Cornhuskers football fan. She also likes to cook, read and spend time with family and friends.
