Josh holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Experience and Education

Josh is responsible for conducting due diligence and providing manager recommendations to support Mariner advisors. In addition, he provides asset class and category guidance. He also monitors recommended managers and strategies and sources new ideas to fulfill client needs.

Prior to joining Mariner, Josh held the analyst position at Principal Asset Management, where he focused on manager research and supported the management of various multi-asset products including target date strategies and core-satellite multi-manager portfolios across equity and fixed income.

Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in economics, both from Drake University.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young sons. He is an avid runner and regularly competes in local road races and marathons.
