Experience and Education

Marc is responsible for conducting due diligence, providing manager recommendations and focusing on specific areas of coverage to provide asset class and category guidance to support Mariner advisors. He also monitors recommended managers and strategies, sources new ideas and provides investment recommendations.

Prior to joining Mariner, Marc was a research analyst at Portfolio Strategy Group, where he was responsible for coverage over public equities, real assets and private debt. Before that, he held the director of manager research position at Wealthcare, where he focused on maintaining investment models used by advisors and providing oversight of active managers. In his earlier career, he held the brokerage investment professional position at Vanguard, where he was the point of contact for existing and prospective retail clients. While there, he also provided goal-driven investment solutions to clients.

Marc holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pittsburgh.

Away from the office, Marc enjoys long-distance running and finding new restaurants.
