Tyler holds the Certified Financial Analyst® designation, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, and Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement designations.
Experience and Education
Tyler is responsible for the oversight and management of client relationships, striving to exceed client expectations by delivering excellent service through developing investment policy guidelines, optimizing investment portfolios, selecting investment managers, presenting performance-monitoring reports, and conducting trustee education on a wide range of investment topics. He also helps to ensure clients receive accurate documentation and reports on their timeline, maintaining current knowledge of each client’s manager lineup and general market issues. Tyler acts as the primary point of contact in relation to all servicing issues related to the client and is required to be proactive in communication regarding portfolios, firm and Plan issues as they arise. Tyler may leverage Mariner’s colleagues as required in order to meet the clients’ varying needs.
Prior to joining Mariner, Tyler was a consultant at AndCo, an investment consulting firm that was acquired by Mariner. While here, where Tyler assisted clients in asset allocation, manager selection, and investment policy statement development. Before that, Tyler was a senior financial analyst at Starwood Vacation Ownership where he conducted financial analysis for sales and marketing channels on various properties within the organization.
Tyler has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and in Political Science from the University of Central Florida.
Personal Interests
Away from the office, Tyler serves as a volunteer Chair-elect on the Greater Orlando Alumni Council for the University of Central Florida. He also serves as an Ambassador for Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity International and serves as a volunteer advisor for the UCF Department of Finance. Tyler also serves as a judge for the UCF Joust Entrepreneurial Competition and volunteers for the Elevations Scholars Program. He is an avid UCF sports fan.
