Designations and licenses

Tyler holds the Certified Financial Analyst® designation, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, and Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement designations.

Experience and education

Tyler is responsible for ensuring department functions, directives, structure, staff and policies and procedures support Mariner’s strategy and objectives. He also focuses on establishing and monitoring department KPIs and ensures that department resources are being utilized effectively.

Prior to joining Mariner, Tyler was a consultant at AndCo, an investment consulting firm that was acquired by Mariner. While here, where Tyler assisted clients in asset allocation, manager selection, and investment policy statement development. Before that, Tyler was a senior financial analyst at Starwood Vacation Ownership where he conducted financial analysis for sales and marketing channels on various properties within the organization.

Tyler has a bachelor’s degree in finance and political science from the University of Central Florida.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Tyler serves as a volunteer chair-elect on the Greater Orlando Alumni Council for the University of Central Florida. He also serves as an ambassador for Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity International and serves as a volunteer advisor for the UCF Department of Finance. Tyler also serves as a judge for the UCF Joust Entrepreneurial Competition and volunteers for the Elevations Scholars Program. He is an avid UCF sports fan.
