Matt Hollingsworth

Experience and education

Matt is responsible for conducting due diligence, providing manager recommendations and focusing on specific areas of coverage to provide asset class and category guidance to support Mariner advisors. He also monitors recommended managers and strategies, sources new ideas and provides investment recommendations to fulfill client needs.

Prior to joining Mariner, Matt spent 15 years at Cardinal Investment Advisors, where he held several client servicing roles as a consultant and performance analyst. While there, he was also a member of the leveraged finance research team.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Millikin University.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and various outdoor activities. He also enjoys supporting community service and volunteering. He is a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
