Experience and education

Alana has more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry. Alana provides wealth management solutions to clients and helps them establish financial plans to help them achieve their goals and objectives.

Prior to joining Mariner, Alana was director of O’Renick Companies, a Kansas City-based registered investment advisor that provides services to high-net-worth individuals, trusts, corporations and qualified retirement plans.

Alana has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Georgia State University. She is a member of the Financial Planner’s Association of Kansas City.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP^®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®, and CFP^® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
