Experience and education

Stephen provides clients with comprehensive wealth management services to help them achieve their goals.

Prior to joining Mariner, Stephen was a financial advisor at UBS Financial Services. Before that, he spent seven years at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and six years at Moneta Group. Stephen works with business owners, corporate executives and families who seek experienced guidance to help navigate complex financial decisions. He acts as their advocate and a direct point of access to help them pursue their goals.

Stephen earned a bachelor’s degree with double majors in political science and history and a minor in business from Washington University in St. Louis.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Stephen and his wife, Lauren, a local dentist, are raising their two sons in his hometown St. Louis community. He serves as a member of the Development Board at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and participates in many other philanthropic groups in the city.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP^®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®, and CFP^® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
