Experience and Education

Dom provides personalized wealth planning solutions for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners. He designs and implements customized wealth plans with a focus on clients’ long-term objectives and cash flow needs. He also provides integrated planning and strategies for growing and protecting wealth, including tax and estate planning, risk management and retirement planning.

Prior to joining Mariner, Dom held the partner advisor position at AdvicePeriod, where he managed the relationships with some of the firm’s most affluent and complex clients. He has extensive experience in tax and estate planning and managing investment portfolios for high-net-worth families. Before that, he was senior director and team leader for BNY Mellon, where he led a team of portfolio managers and was responsible for over $1B of private client and institutional assets.

Dom holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Eastern Washington University.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Dom is an avid triathlete and enjoys various activities with his wife and four children. He also enjoys volunteering for Goodwill Industries of Orange County, Serra’s Pantry Food Bank and Mission Basilica School.
