Paul holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designee.

Experience and Education

Paul provides individuals and families with comprehensive wealth management including integrated financial planning and investment strategies to help grow and protect wealth. As a managing director for the Southeast market, he works closely with clients and supports Mariner’s locations in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.

Prior to joining Mariner, Paul worked as a principal and chief operating officer at Allegiant Private Advisors. Before that, he spent 30 years on Wall Street in various institutional money management roles, including partner and portfolio manager at several successful hedge funds.

Paul has a bachelor’s degree in economics and an international relations certificate from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.

Personal Interests

Paul serves on the finance and investment committees of All Faiths Food Bank, a nonprofit based in Sarasota, Florida, which has been recognized as one of the top food banks in the country. He is a board member of the Sarasota Ballet, currently serving on the finance and investment committees. He is also a member of the finance committee of the Community Foundation of Sarasota and often volunteers to teach and lecture about financial literacy.

In his free time, Paul enjoys food, wine, ballet, music, hiking and swimming.
