Tony holds the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation.

Experience and Education

Tony focuses on the client experience and developing associate talent at several of our locations. He is responsible for strategy and operational execution in these locations, as well as identifying and opening new offices. He also works closely with high-net-worth individuals, foundations and endowments, providing them wealth and investment plans to help them meet their financial goals.

Tony has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services and investment management industry. He has particular experience in equity valuation and fundamental analysis. Prior to joining Mariner, he was a vice president and portfolio manager at Hilliard Lyons Capital Management, an institutional investment firm specializing in asset management for foundations and endowments, public funds and high-net-worth individuals. He was co-manager of the firm’s growth and income strategies where his responsibilities included security analysis, portfolio construction and investment strategy.

Previously, Tony was an equity analyst and portfolio manager at Fifth Third Bank and a senior manager at Morningstar. He started his career at Accenture, where he led technology and strategy projects for financial services clients in the United States and Europe.

Tony has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with honors from Miami University and an MBA in analytical finance and accounting from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Cincinnati.

Personal Interests

Tony volunteers in the community and was selected by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber for Leadership Cincinnati (Class 37). He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cincinnati Art Museum and 4C for Children, as well as the finance committee of St. Susanna Catholic Church.
