Experience and Education
Tony is responsible for the national strategy and execution of the Wealth Division, Advisory Solutions and Specialty Tax. He serves on the firm’s Executive Leadership Team, which leads Mariner’s vision and strategy, resource allocation, talent and team development and performance, culture and overall performance and execution. He also is a member of several steering committees the firm.
Prior to his current role, Tony served as a regional managing director in the East-Central region and as a senior wealth advisor. In this capacity, he led the strategic direction and growth of the Cincinnati, Detroit, Indianapolis and Nashville offices. In addition, he delivered personalized wealth advice to individuals, foundations and endowments, helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives.
Before joining Mariner, Tony was a vice president and portfolio manager at Hilliard Lyons Capital Management, an institutional investment firm specializing in asset management for foundations and endowments, public funds and high-net-worth individuals. He was co-manager of the firm’s growth and income strategies with responsibilities that included security analysis, portfolio construction and investment strategy. He was also an equity analyst and portfolio manager at Fifth Third Bank and a senior manager at Morningstar. He started his career at Accenture, where he led technology and strategy projects for financial services clients.
Tony holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with honors from Miami University and an MBA in analytical finance and accounting from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Cincinnati.
Personal Interests
Tony is deeply committed to serving the local community and was selected by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber for Leadership Cincinnati (Class 37). He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cincinnati Art Museum. He has competed in numerous marathons across the country and enjoys fly fishing with his good friends. He is a devoted husband and father of three daughters.
