Dan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. 

Experience and education

Dan works with clients to assess their current financial situation, establish goals and create a wealth management plan to help them achieve their objectives.

Dan has more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Mariner, he served as president of Orizon Investment Counsel, an investment advisory firm. In 1991, Dan joined CLS Investment Firm, a third-party investment manager and held several different positions. After receiving a computer programming degree, he spent the first eight years of his career in information technology.

Personal interests

Dan is currently treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors for Chariots4Hope, a faith–based, nonprofit organization providing reliable transportation to those in need.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP^®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®, and CFP^® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
