Experience and Education

Tim works to deliver quality retirement plan services to plan sponsors and their participants, with a particular focus on helping clients solve the unique challenges faced by retirement plan sponsors.

Tim has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Mariner, Tim was a retirement plan consultant at SageView Advisory. Before joining SageView, he served as vice president and institutional portfolio manager at M&I Retirement Services, where he provided guidance and expertise related to 401(k), 403(b), 457 and defined benefit plans. Tim’s past experience also includes serving as a communications consultant at American Century Investments.

Tim has a bachelor’s degree in communications studies and Spanish from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and an MBA from Baker University.
