Experience and education

Greg is responsible for the oversight and management of client relationships, striving to exceed client expectations by delivering excellent service through developing investment policy guidelines, optimizing investment portfolios, selecting investment managers, presenting performance-monitoring reports and conducting trustee education on a wide range of investment topics. He also helps to ensure clients receive accurate documentation and reports on their timeline, maintaining current knowledge of each client’s manager lineup and general market issues. Greg serves as the primary point of contact for all client service matters and takes a proactive approach to communication regarding portfolios, the firm and plan-related issues as they arise. He may leverage Mariner’s colleagues as required in order to meet the clients’ varying needs.

Prior to joining Mariner, Greg was senior consultant and partner at Investment Performance Services, LLC.

Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgia Southern University.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Greg enjoys boating, golfing, rucking, training with F3 and traveling with his wife and four children. He is actively involved with the Georgia Association of Public Plan Trustees™, where he serves as Chair of the Board Development Committee. Greg is also committed to philanthropy, supporting People of Action Caring for Kids (PACK), Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Savannah community.
