Experience and Education

Jack oversees the day-to-day activities of team members. With an emphasis on training, developing, motivating and providing technical expertise, he monitors and ensures work and service quality and holds direct reports accountable.

Prior to joining Mariner, he served as consulting director at AndCo Consulting where he worked alongside investment consultants to provide all aspects of the firm’s consulting services. He was responsible for the direct management of a consulting team and their consulting and firm initiatives. In this role, he worked with firm management to create, educate, implement, and enforce various consulting group policies and procedures along with best practices to ensure the consistent delivery and quality of the consulting group’s services, interactions, and deliverables.

Prior to that, Jack served as the primary investment consultant for various institutional plans including defined benefit, defined contribution, foundations and operating portfolios.

Before joining AndCo, he served as vice president and portfolio manager at SunTrust Bank (now Truist Bank), where he managed discretionary portfolios for the bank’s trust relationships.

Jack has a master of science in finance from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Central Missouri.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Jack enjoys golfing, hiking and cycling and spending time with his wife and children.
