Sean holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Experience and education

Sean works with referral partners and prospective clients to understand their financial needs and connect them with the appropriate resources and expertise at Mariner. He also helps clients explore Mariner’s investment strategies and solutions. In his role, he collaborates with the Mariner Institutional advisory team to ensure prospective clients receive thoughtful, coordinated guidance throughout the process.

Prior to joining Mariner, Sean was the founder and managing director of Cardinal Investment Advisors.

Sean holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Miami’s Herbert Business School and a master’s degree in marketing from the Daniels School of Business at Purdue University.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Sean enjoys youth sports, golfing and traveling and is a member of his church’s parish finance council.
