Richard is a Certified Public Accountant, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a Chartered Life Underwriter®.
Experience and education
Rich provides strategic leadership for his market, aligning teams, resources and culture to drive growth and enhance the client experience. He partners closely with local and regional leaders to support advisors, develop talent and ensure consistent execution of the firm’s mission and values.
Previously, Rich was a manager in the private client service division of Arthur Andersen. His primary role included the management of high-net-worth clients within the personal financial planning practice, working closely with wealthy individuals to help them mitigate income taxes and enhance their wealth.
Rich has an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of CPAs and the Financial Planning Association.
Personal interests
Away from the office, Rich is an adjunct professor at New York University. He also participates in various philanthropic causes and enjoys coaching Little League.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
