Kate is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a Chartered Special Needs Consultant®.

Experience and education

Kate provides comprehensive wealth management and financial planning services to individuals and families with diverse financial objectives and circumstances. She works closely with clients to develop personalized strategies designed to help them build, preserve and transfer wealth while remaining aligned with their long-term goals and values.

Her expertise spans a broad range of financial planning disciplines, including investment management, retirement planning, tax-efficient strategies, estate planning, risk management and insurance analysis. Kate is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, objective advice and helping clients make informed financial decisions with confidence.

Prior to joining Mariner, Kate served as a financial planner at LPL Financial, where she was responsible for financial planning, portfolio management, trading, compliance oversight and marketing initiatives. Earlier in her career, she held positions with State Street and BlackRock, gaining valuable experience across the investment industry.

Kate has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from California State University, Chico.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Kate is passionate about exploring new places, whether it’s through travel or a new recipe in the kitchen. She currently serves on the executive board of the Financial Planning Association of Northern California, where she supports the advancement of the financial planning profession and promotes financial literacy within the community.
