Maja is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

Experience and Education

Maja focuses on new business development. She works with individuals and families to understand their specific needs and priorities then introduces them to a wealth planning team that can help them achieve their long-term financial objectives.

Prior to joining Mariner, Maja was a senior director at Hightower Advisors, where she worked as a wealth manager specializing in high-net-worth multigenerational families, financial planning, portfolio management, trading and relationship management.

Maja has a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Tufts University.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Maja is an avid mountaineer, runner and skier. She is a member of the American Alpine Club and treasurer and board member of the Flea Theater in New York City, a theater specializing in black, brown and queer art.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP^®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®, and CFP^® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
