Todd is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, an Accredited Estate Planner® and a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®.

Experience and education

Todd helps individuals and families navigate the various complexities of sophisticated estate, charitable and life insurance planning strategies. He has been a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council since 2010 and recently served on its board of directors.

Prior to joining Mariner, he was director of financial planning at Homrich Berg. Before that he worked at a boutique firm in Atlanta specializing in integrated, multigenerational wealth planning for families with significant wealth and with owners of highly successful, privately held businesses. He also worked at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs firm that specializes in comprehensive financial planning for corporate executives and high-net-worth families.

Todd has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa.

Personal interests

Todd lives in Cobb County, Ga., with his wife and two sons. He is a member of the Cobb Community Foundation’s Professional Advisor Network and likes to spend time volunteering at local charities including Habitat for Humanity.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP^®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®, and CFP^® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
