Jon provides clients with comprehensive wealth management services to help them achieve their goals.

Prior to joining Mariner, Jon was the founder, president and CEO of PlanSimple Financial Partners, based in New Orleans. He is committed to providing a comprehensive and approachable planning process for all clients. With over a decade of experience, Jon specializes in wealth management, insurance planning and the 401(k) and retirement plan space. He works with business owners to design, implement and manage plans that are designed to be cost-effective, compliant and aligned with the ethos of the company. His expertise positions him to assist clients in navigating complex fiduciary responsibilities and develop strategies designed to address costs and retirement readiness.

Jon earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Jon enjoys cheering for his sons at their football and baseball games and hosting events with family and friends. He is passionate about giving back to the community, having held numerous board positions with local community organizations. Jon is currently involved in supporting events at his sons’ schools, Christian Brothers and Metairie Park Country Day.
