Shad is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

Experience and education

Shad provides comprehensive financial advisory, including tax planning, estate planning, risk management, education planning and investment management services to individuals and their families to help them achieve their goals.

Prior to joining Mariner, Shad served as a principal where he worked with prospective clients, individuals and families to understand, define, develop, implement, monitor and achieve their goals by offering objective, comprehensive financial planning and investment management services. He enhanced lagging areas of the practice for efficiency and effectiveness as well as trained and supported other colleagues for their growth. Previously, he served as a wealth planner, working with senior advisors to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment management services.

Shad earned a BSBA in finance from Western New England University. He also holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and a financial planning certificate from Boston University.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Shad is a member of the Financial Planning Association. He enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Born and raised in Ghana, Shad loves playing and watching soccer. Shad engages in charitable activities when the opportunity presents itself.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP^®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^®, and CFP^® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
