Matt Hanson
Experience and Education
Matt leads Mariner’s strategy for the firm’s Referral Partner Programs. In this role, he sets overall strategy to achieve program goals, fosters a high-performance culture that aligns with the firm’s values and develops effective sales strategies and tools for advisors and wealth consultants. He also promotes collaboration across regions to achieve sustained results.
Prior to joining Mariner in his current role, Matt was head of partnerships/sales director with Altruist. Before that, he was a senior wealth consultant with Mariner and head of advisory solutions for AdvicePeriod.
Matt holds a BSBA from the University of Vermont.

Away from the office, Matt enjoys Boston sports, golf and exploring the outdoors with his family.
