Experience and Education
Mike leads the firm’s business development efforts in the Northeast. He focuses on developing new client relationships and nurturing existing ones. Prior to joining Mariner Wealth Advisors, Michael was the vice president of sales and marketing at The ELS Group. His primary responsibility was establishing new client relationships and providing solutions to their insurance needs. Before The ELS Group, Michael was a proprietary trader at Chimera Securities where he used firm capital to take advantage of inefficiencies in the equities markets. Preceding his position at Chimera, Michael was a middle market institutional sales trader at Morgan Stanley.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Boston College.
When not spending time with his wife and four children Mike enjoys playing golf and skiing. He also sits on the board of directors at River Market Group and TM4.
