Ben is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and has the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designation.
Experience and Education
Ben works with clients to provide personalized wealth management solutions, including investment strategies, risk management, tax, and estate planning, to help them achieve their goals.
Prior to joining Mariner, Ben spent more than 10 years at Wells Fargo where he worked as a private banker and then as a financial advisor. He later joined Mechanics Bank, a regional bank, in 2013. As a financial advisor for Mechanics Bank, Ben primarily worked with affluent individuals and families. In 2015, he worked for Capital Advantage as a financial advisor. At Capital Advantage, he was on the investment committee.
Ben has a bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University in history. He also attended Ben-Gurion University – Israel for a year abroad where he studied and volunteered as an EMT.
Personal Interests
Ben is a board member of the Temple Isaiah in Lafayette and a cochair on the parent committee at the GanIlan Preschool. He enjoys hiking in the East Bay, open space, spending time with friends and family, and playing cards and board games.
