Experience and Education

Jacob provides clients with customized wealth management solutions to help them achieve their goals. Prior to joining Mariner, Jacob worked at TIAA for six years as a wealth management advisor in Eastern Washington, Montana and Idaho. He also previously worked at TD Ameritrade as an investment consultant, at Fidelity in a variety of roles and at Ameriprise Financial as a financial planner.

He has a bachelor’s degree in music with a focus on vocal performance from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.

Personal Interests

In his free time Jacob works with Operation Underground Railroad to End Human Trafficking and supports the Portland Symphony and Opera.

He also enjoys cycling, music (he sings and plays multiple instruments), hiking, travel, reading and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
