Experience and Education

Michael specializes in helping high-net-worth individuals with their tax situations, including quarterly compliance and financial planning. He also assists the team in implementing charitable giving strategies, as well as estate and retirement planning.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a senior tax associate at CohnReznick LLP, where he was responsible for tax compliance, bookkeeping and multi-state taxation for closely held companies and high-net-worth individuals.

Michael has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University and a master’s degree in accountancy from Wake Forest University’s School of Business in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Brooklyn/Queens chapter.

Personal Interests

Michael is an avid sports fan, cheering for the Florida State Seminoles. He is originally from the Tampa Bay area, and cheers for the Rays and Bucs. In is spare time, he plays volleyball, soccer and any other pickup sports. He enjoys homebrewing beer, reading books (mainly history, politics or science fiction) and playing board games.
