Experience and education

Rich provides clients with personalized wealth management solutions that include financial planning, tax preparation, investing and reporting to help them reach their goals.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, beginning his career as a tax attorney and has worked with high-net-worth individuals and families. He cofounded Wealth Health in 2003 and led the firm until it was acquired by Mariner in 2020. In his role as managing partner of Wealth Health, he was responsible for managing the firm and also acted as a client relationship advisor to many of Wealth Health’s clients.

Rich has a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from Boston College and a Juris Doctorate degree from Seton Hall University, School of Law. He also has a Master of Laws degree in taxation from the New York University School of Law, Graduate Division.

Rich has appeared over the years on nationally televised programs, including CNBC, the Fox Business Network and the Nightly Business Report. He has been quoted in major newspapers, trade journals and digital articles. Rich was appointed to CNBC’s first ever Digital Financial Advisor Council, contributing guest columns and on-air content for CNBC for two years.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
