Brett holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Experience and Education

Brett serves as lead portfolio manager for the firm’s option and structured note strategies. He was previously president and chief investment officer of 440 Investment Group, an asset management firm specializing in option investments. 440 was acquired by Mariner in 2018.

Prior to joining 440, Brett worked at Protiviti as an internal audit and risk management consultant. While at Protiviti, he obtained the Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Investment and Derivatives Auditor designations.

Brett has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and finance from Pittsburg State University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Kansas.
