Kip has been in the financial industry since 1989, specializing in retirement planning, wealth management and wealth preservation strategies. He is an advocate for a conservative investment approach and uses tactical investment management to pursue client goals. What Kip enjoys most about the financial industry is the long-term connection he forms with clients and their families.

Prior to joining Mariner, Kip was the co-founder of the Alder Mechals Group. Before that, he co-founded Cascadia Wealth Management.

Kip holds a bachelor’s degree in business finance from Western Oregon University.

Kip enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and mountain biking.
