Experience and Education
Ryan combines his experience in financial planning and investment management to deliver wealth advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and families. He walks clients through the financial planning process, including tax planning, wealth transfer strategies, investment management, risk management and small-business planning.
He started his career in financial planning in 2003. He was a partner and senior wealth advisor at Martin Financial Group, an independent RIA, until the firm was merged with Mariner in 2019. Along with his roles as partner and senior wealth advisor, Ryan also served as co-portfolio manager of the firm’s Diversified Multi-Strategy Portfolio (DMSP). The DMSP portfolio was a large-cap relative value strategy focused on income and capital appreciation.
Ryan has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Louisville. He is involved in the financial planning community and is a member of the national and Seattle chapters of the Financial Planning Association.
Personal Interests
Ryan enjoys spending time outdoors boating, skiing and recently trying his hand at mountain biking with his young children.
