Experience and education
Phil provides a comprehensive advisory experience to a select group of entrepreneurs and leaders in business, tech, finance, media, sports and entertainment. He implements a multidisciplinary approach that integrates and coordinates all aspects of their financial picture, covering areas such as cash flow, insurance, investments, taxes, estate, liquidity, philanthropy, business planning and more.
Prior to joining Mariner, Phil began his advisory career working at major financial services firms where he spent most of his time solving the complex tax and estate planning needs of ultra-high net worth individuals and families whose wealth was mostly concentrated in business, real estate and other illiquid assets.
As an active member in the wealth advisory community, Phil serves on the boards of the Financial Planning Association and the Estate Planning Council of Miami. He is also active in the business advisory community and is a member of the Exit Planning Institute, the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisitions Advisors and the Association of Corporate Growth.
Phil has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.
Personal interests
Away from the office, Phil enjoys working out, playing basketball and spending time at the beach. He also has a passion for learning and creating new things.
