Doug is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. He also holds life, accident, health and HMO insurance licenses in Texas.

Experience and education

Doug provides clients with comprehensive wealth management services to help them achieve their goals as well as integrated planning and strategies to help them grow and protect their wealth.

Prior to joining Mariner, he served as a wealth management associate at SMS Capital Management, LLC, a boutique wealth management firm. Before that, he worked as a consulting engineer in the electrical power industry for more than 15 years.

Doug has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

Personal interests

Doug is the treasurer of the Woodland Heights Community Association and the treasurer of Friends of Woodland Park.
