Experience and Education

Julie focuses on new business development. She works with individuals and families to understand their specific needs and priorities, then introduces them to a wealth planning team that can help achieve their long-term financial objectives. She brings more than 25 years of experience to building relationships and connecting prospective clients with advisory teams.

Prior to joining Mariner, Julie was a senior vice president in commercial lending at F&M Bank. Before that, she was with J.P. Morgan, where she provided private banking, investment management and trust services. Earlier in her career, she was the director of investor relations for Vintage Petroleum and served in various roles during her nine-year tenure at Bank of Oklahoma.

Julie has a bachelor’s degree in advertising/public relations and journalism and an MBA, both from the University of Tulsa.

Personal Interests

Julie is the chair of the board of trustees for the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust. She has served on the finance committee and as chair of the investment committee for the Tulsa Ballet and as a board mentor. She is a past board chair for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma and led the capital campaign for their new leadership center.

Additionally, Julie has served as an executive advisory director at the Collins College of Business at the University of Tulsa and on the small business and tourism committees at the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce. Some of the organizations she has supported and volunteered for include the Tulsa Area United Way, Dress for Success, Rebuilding Tulsa, Holy Family Cathedral School and Jenks and Tulsa public schools.
