Nick is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.

Experience and education

Nick partners closely with affluent families to design and implement customized wealth plans that incorporate investments, retirement planning, tax, estate planning and risk management. He helps families navigate complex financial planning as they work to achieve their long-term goals.

Prior to joining Mariner, Nick was a senior advisor and manager at Plante Moran Financial Advisors. Before Plante Moran, he was an associate advisor at Northern Financial Advisors.

Nick has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Central Michigan University.

Personal interests

Nick enjoys spending time with his wife, Jesse, and their three young children, Gus, Otto and Mabel. In his spare time, Nick is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing and hiking, with a particular emphasis on fly fishing.
