Experience and Education

Brian provides services to institutional clients that include investment portfolio management for community banks, credit unions, insurance companies and other institutions, asset-liability management consulting, mortgage servicing right valuations and independent, third-party asset-liability management model reviews/validations.

Prior to joining Mariner, Brian spent three decades in the fixed income capital markets industry. He was registered principal and managing partner at Liberty Capital Group, senior vice president with D.A. Davidson and managing director and Memphis region head with Pierpont Capital Markets.

Brian holds a degree in finance from the University of Memphis, where he graduated with honors.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Brian enjoys being active in his community, sports of all kinds, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He has served on the MILE Leadership Program at the University of Memphis. He also co-founded VIPER Volleyball Club, a junior Olympics volleyball club for young women. He has been an active booster for the University of Memphis’s football team, served as program director on the university’s booster club board and remains a member of its First Team Booster Club.
