Experience and Education

Ed helps advisors design and select the most appropriate insurance solutions to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals. He has more than two decades of experience assisting advisors with all aspects of insurance-based financial solutions.

Prior to joining Mariner, Ed was an estate and business planning consultant for Hartford Life Insurance Co. In that role, he focused on providing solutions to optimize generational wealth transfer for families and business succession plans for business owners. His past experience also includes serving as an insurance brokerage consultant at New England Mutual Life Insurance Co.

Ed has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Kansas State University.
