Kate is a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor®.

Experience and education

Kate has responsibility in people management and performance measurement, reporting and investment policy monitoring for defined contribution plans. She oversees the day-to-day activities, training, developing and motivating the assigned team members in their department. In her role, she assigns tasks, monitors service quality and project management/alignment to project deadlines. She also manages client onboarding and ongoing plan support, while collaborating with advisors, service teams, recordkeepers and clients on report deliverables, RFP/RFI responses, participant communications and education initiatives.

Prior to joining Mariner full-time, Kate participated in an internship with the firm the summer prior to graduation.

She has a bachelor’s degree in management and society from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Personal interests

Kate played Division 1 college tennis for the UNC women’s tennis team. During her time in Chapel Hill as a student-athlete, she also participated in the Richard A. Baddour Carolina Leadership Academy, a four-year program on leadership development.
