Experience and education

Donnell has responsibility in people management and performance measurement, reporting and investment policy monitoring for defined contribution plans. He oversees the day-to-day activities, training, developing and motivating the assigned team members in their department. In his role, he assigns tasks, monitors service quality and project management/alignment to project deadlines. He also manages client onboarding and ongoing plan support, while collaborating with advisors, service teams, record keepers and clients on report deliverables, RFP/RFI responses, participant communications and education initiatives.

Prior to joining the firm, Donnell was a team lead at AndCo Consulting, an investment consulting firm that was acquired by Mariner. Before that, he was senior administrative assistant at BNY Mellon.

Donnell has a bachelor’s degree in economics from The City College of New York.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Donnell enjoys bachata/salsa dancing and supporting child development services for children with autism spectrum disorder.
