Experience and Education

Samantha focuses on tax services for high-net-worth individuals, their families and closely held entities. She has experience with tax compliance for partnerships, S corporations, private foundations, individuals, trusts, estates and gift tax returns. She manages the preparation and review of tax returns and aids in tax planning and projections based on clients’ needs.

Prior to joining Mariner, Samantha was a tax manager for high-net-worth client groups at national accounting firms Baker Tilly US, LP and CBIZ, Inc. She also held a senior tax role at a large family office in Southern California, where she managed the family office’s tax compliance needs and assisted with tax planning.

Samantha has a Master of Science in accounting from Baruch College and a bachelor’s degree in hotel business administration from Cornell University.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Samantha enjoys visiting various art museums and creating art at home. She also likes to cook and try new recipes. Samantha served for five years on the board of the Cornell Asian Alumni Association, an organization she continues to support.
