Rapidly Growing Mariner Wealth Advisors Expands Omaha Office
Adding two senior wealth advisors, the national wealth advisory firm resumes aggressive growth plan
Mariner Wealth Advisors, the national wealth advisory firm ranked in the top two on Barron’s list of Top 20 Independent Advisory Firms in both 2016 and 2017, today announced it has refocused on its national expansion efforts through the addition of two senior wealth advisors, in Omaha, Nebraska.1
Joining the firm as senior wealth advisors are Jim Siemonsma and Ed Meekins, both former advisors at a financial services firm in Omaha. Siemonsma and Meekins bring with them 19 years and 17 years of experience, respectively, and together served clients with more than $600 million in assets. Their experience will enhance the firm’s existing Omaha team of eight professionals, where the firm is also adding another wealth advisor and two client service professionals.
“Ed and I strive to provide a wide range of services and support to our clients, and we believe Mariner Wealth Advisors is the right place to help us take our capabilities – and the firm – to the next level,” said Siemonsma. “After many discussions with the firm’s executives and advisors, we are confident this new relationship will allow us to more effectively help our clients achieve their long-term goals.”
According to Marty C. Bicknell, chief executive officer and president of Mariner Wealth Advisors, “Occasionally, I meet people who I immediately know share our firm’s focus and commitment to putting clients first. Jim and Ed are two such advisors. I am thrilled they have decided to join us in our efforts to provide unrivaled wealth advice to clients throughout the region.”
Mariner Wealth Advisors was founded with a mission of serving as an advocate to help individuals and families achieve their long-term financial goals. The firm’s growth and expansion in Omaha demonstrate a continued commitment to improve on its ability to deliver fully customized and holistic wealth planning solutions to clients throughout Nebraska and Iowa.
