Experience and education

Hyelim provides tax planning, compliance and accounting solutions to closely held businesses across a variety of industries. She also devises tax planning solutions for high-net-worth individuals and manages compliance-related matters for all taxing jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Mariner, Hyelim worked as a tax manager at Deloitte, providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and executives. Earlier in her career, she held progressively responsible tax roles at Ernst & Young and PwC, where she supported and led engagements delivering tax services for both individual and corporate clients.

Hyelim holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rutgers University.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Hyelim enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as running, hiking and traveling. Guided by a belief in helping others succeed, she is passionate about mentoring students, women and early-career professionals as they navigate career development and professional growth.
