Josue holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and has a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement designation.

Experience and education

Josue is responsible for conducting due diligence and providing manager recommendations to support Mariner advisors. In addition, he provides asset class and category guidance. He also monitors recommended managers and strategies and sources new ideas.

Prior to joining Mariner, Josue held the research analyst position at AndCo Consulting, where he served clients’ needs by conducting performance analysis and investment manager due diligence within the public market space. Before that, he held the investment analyst position at Thistle Asset Consulting, where he was responsible for performance measurement and custodial bank statement reconciliation for institutional clients. While there, he also developed asset allocations and equity analysis reports and analyzed client portfolio reports.

Josue holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master of science degree in economics, both from Florida Atlantic University.

Personal interests

Away from the office, Josue enjoys playing squash, tennis and pickleball. He is a fan of the Orlando City soccer team.
