Abi Torres

Experience and Education

Abi focuses on the development and creation of client deliverables, data mining and database administration, meeting coordination and scheduling, as well as fulfillment of client ad hoc requests. She is also the liaison for the team with the investment management community and focuses on securing information pertinent to the due diligence process.

Prior to joining Mariner, Abi held the research operations associate position at AndCo Consulting. While there, she focused on assisting the research team with manager search books, asset allocation studies, producing monthly and quarterly reports, and ad hoc tasks and projects. Before that, she was a performance reporting department intern at AndCo Consulting, where she assisted with document collections and projects.

Abi holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in French, both from the Florida State University.

Personal Interests

Away from the office, Abi enjoys travelling solo and taking spontaneous trips, learning about other cultures and foreign traditions. She is an executive committee member of the Elevation Alumni Association, creating programs for events for first-generation college graduates. She also enjoys painting, drawing, watching movies, playing tennis, practicing archery and reading.
